General Summer Associate - PDX

We are seeing out a highly motivated second-year law student to become a Summer Associates at Schwabe for the summer of 2009 in our Portland, OR office. Typical start dates for Summer Associates begin during mid-May. Summer Associates receive a weekly salary of $1800.
2L Summer Associates research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and legal updates for continuing education purposes. Schwabe also has opportunities to volunteer at the firm-sponsored pro bono clinic.
Applicants are required to have a top 25% class ranking or equivalent GPA. Moot Court and/or Law Review experience is preferred.
